Paris Cycling

Paris is trying to become a cycle friendly city and are constantly opening up dedicated cycle lanes on their roads, which now add up to over 250km of cycle lanes.

The Bois de Boulogne and the Bois de Vincennes have great cycle rides through more natural environs.

In some areas of Paris the council closes off some main road on Sundays and they become rollerblading or cycle roads for that day. One of these roads will take you on a lovely bide ride up the right side of the river Seine.

There are many bike hire outlets in Paris.
