When you travel to many major cities and stay in hostels, its very easy to think they all start to blend into one but occasionally, you can find one with a little charm and although the Perfect Hostel Montemarte in Paris doesn’t quite live up to its name, it offers a great place to stay at reasonable rates, which is surely enough for any hostel.

Located a five minute walk from Sacre Coeur and a ten minute metro ride from Champs Elysees Avenue, the location was perfect for all our sightseeing needs and with the help of the friendly staff we were able to get around the city with no trouble.
There was a safety deposit box facility at the front desk which was free of charge which was handy and whilst the breakfast, linen and shower facilities were of the standard you would hope and expect from any major hostel, there was nothing to complain about and our stay was fun and completely stress free with regards to accommodation.
Sometimes it’s the little things that can make or break opinions about hostels and free newspapers or the safe baggage storage areas definitely tipped our findings for this hostel to the favourable. The lounge area did scream cheap hotel but it was still pleasant and we weren’t intending to spend much time in the place anyway.
