Paris walking

At its widest point, Paris is only 12km , therefore can be walked in two hours, and it is a very pleasant walk, allowing you to see far more than you would on the Metro.

Walking in Paris is easy. A good start is to walk from the Arc de Triomphe to Ile de la Cite (Notre Dame).

There are also 180km of walking tracks in Paris as well as organised walks. Walking maps are available from the tourist information office.
